ROOSTER is a one-man-downhomedeltacountryslidebluesband. Behind the name is Tore Ruus from Bodø (North of Norway)(actually north of the Arctic circle). Land of the midnightsun.

National & Dobro slideguitars, 6 & 12 string guitars, footstomp, Mississippi sax (harp) and vokal is the foundation of the music.

ROOSTER used to be a folkrock/poprock player (LP in 1986), but was hit by the blues and has been studying and playing the blues for the last 16 years. ROOSTER has attended blues festivals in Norway with electric bands and also as an acoustic duo.

Now as a soloact. At last.........no compromise.
